Cable Percussion Drilling

Cable percussion (shell and auger) is the most common drilling method used for geotechnical site or ground investigations in the UK.

Window/Windowless Sampling & Dynamic Probing

Also known as windowless sampling or window sampling, dynamic sampling forms a fundamental part of contemporary ground investigation.

Pit Digging

Test pits are holes dug prior to construction to help ensure the ground conditions are suitable for building projects.

Dando 4000

A straight‐forward technique to drill in soft to medium conditions. This unit is a high‐powered rig with a 4000kg pullback capacity fitted with full clutch and winch guards.

Dando 1000 LHR

The Dando 1000 shell and auger rig is ideal for drilling shallow holes in areas of difficult access. The adjustable height of the mast derrick and its simple collapsible design allow the rig to be positioned easily into tight areas with low head room.

Premier 110RP/Dando Terrier

The Premier Tracker Compact 110 Series Percussive driven sampling rig is sepcifically designed for soil sampling and testing for geotechnical and environmental applications.

DANDO 2500/2000 & PILCON WAYFARER 1500 RIGS

These rigs are suitable for most standard site investigations. They all use the cable percussive method of drilling and can obtain depths to approx 30 metres.

All our machines are LOLER compliant and carry a valid test certificate.
